History – our milestones at a glance
1964
Schäfer + Weinbrenner was founded in Waiblingen-Hegnach. From the very beginning there has been a focus on the product areas of extruder screws, cylinders and dosing screws.
1993
Continued concentration on the areas of screws, cylinders, grooved bushings and dosing screws.
1996
In Lower Silesia (Polkowice)PROMAX is founded, a subsidiary company.
2000
Development and construction of a machine for grooving that allows HELIX to produce grooves in dimensions and qualities that are unique in the world.
2005
Renaming of Schäfer + Weinbrenner GmbH into HELIX GmbH. Since then Armin Weinbrenner has been the managing director of the family business.
2007
Further development and construction of a new machine for grooving bushings.
2014
Further development and construction of a new machine for grooving cylinders.
2015
HELIX GmbH builds a new building and moves to Winnenden.
2018
Optimization of the existing machine and new construction of another machine for grooving cylinders
